Spider Webs

Through my office window I’ve been watching a spider web grow. It is now so large that it may undermine the structural integrity of the walls it joins to.

In its infancy, I wouldn’t have noticed the few spindly threads of web.

Yet with each passing day the spider added to it and it grew wider and wider.

The spider adapted as needed, using the surrounding plants, the window and the walls to provide anchor points for this growing beauty. Expanding, strengthening, repairing it along the way.
