Know, And Do

I know.

These words were uttered with the wry smile of someone who admits they know … better.

We humans are consistently challenged by what I call the knowing-doing gap.

Yes, we know.

But, we don’t always do.

It’s one of the biggest barriers to change.

It takes intention and attention to move something from our thinking to action. There are many opportunities for getting sidetracked and the resistance can be strong.

When we listen closely we hear our inner knowing.

And, ask, how might we do what we know will take us closer to the change we seek to make?
