Recognise Habits

Recapping the achievements for the week, I decided to recognise things like:

deleting emails, closing tabs, decluttering the desk.

They’re not the usual big-ticket items that we like to include on our highlight reel.

Yet, as author James Clear reminds us, “your outcomes are a lagging measure of your habits.”

It’s easy to let some of the seemingly small habits slide in the busyness of work and life, although keeping up with all the things - big and small - pays big dividends in the long term. When we take time to celebrate them, we embed these practices into our daily rhythm. They become part of the way we show up. They become part of who we are.

I’m curious, how are you celebrating the outcomes of your big and small habits?
