What We See

What did you see?

We recently had a family night out and when driving home got to talking about the experience.

“Did you notice that?” one of us asked.

“No, but did you see …” another countered.

Of course, it is ever so human for each of us to have observed and experienced different things.

In some environments, such differences might be a source of conflict. In others, they can be a source of curiosity, wonder and exploration.

In our car ride, we were able to amplify our own experience with that of others. We became mindful of where we each pay attention, and where we don’t. We got to celebrate how each of us see the world ever so differently.

How might we create the conditions where we can bring curiosity and wonder and discover the answer to the question: what did you see?
