What We Need

I often wonder if my phone is listening to me.

And that’s despite having all of my security settings in place.

Whilst there is no doubt good reason to stay vigilant to this possibility, there are also moments when an ad or social media post appears to read my mind. Knowing I haven’t spoken these thoughts aloud, I realise it is one of those cognitive biases of noticing more of what I need.

It is amazing how that works.

Do you ever find yourself thinking, “That’s just what I needed ….” when stumbling upon

==> that piece of information you’ve been searching for;

==> encouragement from a colleague or stranger;

==> a motivating story or quote;

==> a new opportunity or idea;

==> a person to provide support or to lend an ear.

When our purpose and goals remain front of mind something - or someone - shows up just when we need it most. Even without the ‘help’ of our favourite tech 😉
