The Long Game

Are you playing the long game?

I’m often reminded of the classic tale of the tortoise and the hare. Much of work and life is fast-paced and focused on quick wins. It's easy to experience self doubt when we see others zoom past us.

Yet when we're making changes, we're playing the long game, and it's not a sprint to win today or tomorrow. The key is to steadily build a practice that slowly but surely nudges us in the right direction.

Immediate results might not be obvious in the daily hustle and bustle of work and life until we look through the lens of tomorrow's goals.

I’m curious, how are your actions today setting you up to win the long game?
