Super Humans

Superheroes have a lot to answer for.

Well, not the heroes themselves, especially the real life ones that come through for us in tough times. However, the superhuman expectation that accompanies the concept and story can be a burden.

“It’s good to have someone to share this with…”

“I feel confident we can do this now … now that I have help …”

“We have all been working together and it’s made such a difference …”

In these different conversations recently, I heard the relief expressed when we concede that working together, helping each other, and importantly, putting our hand up for help, makes things easier and better for all.

By doing so, we let go of the expectation of being a superhuman ourselves, and together can be super humans.

Now there’s a change worth making, don’t you agree.
