Special Days

Every day is special.

When I heard these words used in an advertising campaign, I found myself thinking:

Yes, and …

some days are extra special.

It is good for we humans to observe and celebrate the special to be found every day. There is plenty of research to show how regular gratitude and joy practices rewire our brains, and impact our health, for the better.

And …

It is necessary for us to acknowledge that work, life, the world is changeable. When we observe the whole range of not-so-special to extra-special we get the complete human experience with all of the gratitude and joy that perspective can bring.

I’m having some kind of special day, how about you?
