Final Sprints

Put your head down

… and go, go, go.

Mid way through the Tour de France, I’ve watched day after day where the riders spend hours traversing the countryside, only to approach the day’s final sprint with head down and that final burst of energy to cross the line.

Sometimes it is good to channel that same energy for the sprint to the end of the working week.

We may have made steady progress, battled challenging terrains, had a crash or equipment failure along the way. And, here we are. The head is down. Distractions are minimised. This week’s finish line is in sight.

Go. Go. Go.

I’m nearly there. How about you?
