Share That Knowledge

Sharing is

generous,

easy, and

powerful.

Early on in my career, I would hear people repeat the mantra: knowledge is power. Often, people felt the need to hoard knowledge, loudly assert what they knew, and play all sorts of political games.

Yes, I know some of this still happens, but the upside to greater access to information and knowledge is that we shift where the power of it lies.

The powerful part of knowledge is in the sharing.

When we have information that might be useful, or can help someone with a how-to, or can ease someone’s concerns by providing research or a story, or can provide knowledge that solves a pressing problem, we all win.

The better knowledge mantra has always been

sharing is caring

don’t you agree.
