Rest Is Good

Resting is hard work.

Words I hear often from friends, colleagues and family.

Not surprising given the prevailing views around rest. It is seen as inaction, laziness, and unproductive.

Yet, resting is one of the most purposeful actions we can take to ensure, our health, wellbeing and long term growth and productivity.

When we hear the call to stop resting, and start doing, it’s worth remembering that anything worthwhile involves some hard work.

Resist.

Persist.

Rest.
