Rain, Hail or …

Come rain, hail or shine.

It’s more than a common saying, it’s a motto to live by.

As I confirmed timing and location with my Monday morning walking partner, I contemplated what the weather might hold. A chance of showers, the weather app suggested.

This might provide a reason, or excuse, not to walk.

Yet, when we are committed to a practice or habit, we must do the thing. Come rain, hail or shine.

When we are working toward a goal, we must make step by step progress toward it. Come rain, hail or shine.

When we want to live life purposefully, we must follow that purpose every single day. Come rain, hail or shine.

I’m looking forward to my Monday walk. Come rain, hail or shine.
