Push Forward
Most of us have experienced push back - either as the “pusher” or the “pushee”.
What about push forward?
When we push forward we are
… looking to move something ahead and continue to make progress
… wondering how we can establish win-win options
… questioning what is blocking our progress, and
…finding the (often tiny) steps forward even when we disagree.
Pushing forward allows us to intentionally build better relationships, communicate openly, ask questions, listen and integrate varied beliefs and views.
Both pushing back and pushing forward take energy, persistence and time. Pushing forward seems like a much better direction for the effort, don’t you agree?
