Keep Looking
Did you find any eggs?
When I asked a friend’s young child this question, I received the expected answer. And, more.
“YES! I looked and looked and looked and I found them”
As we know, kids are wise beyond their years.
When I asked my friend if they had worked out what experience to highlight in the submission they were completing, I received a different answer.
“No. I don’t think I have what I need.”
What if you looked and looked and looked?
We usually find what it is we are looking for. If that happens to be our skills, experiences, strengths and successes, we will find them, and build on them. If we are focused on the gaps, our shortfalls and failures, we’ll find them, too. And, they’ll become limiting factors, blocking us from progressing with what it is we seek.
I’m curious, what will you discover if you looked and looked and looked?
