Joy Of Surprises

At Christmas time, with our traditions of gift giving, surprises can be fun.

They can spark our curiosity, invoke positive emotions and create stronger connections.

Unfortunately in our workplaces, surprises can be a challenge.

They can create uncertainty, unsettle people and throw business as usual off course.

It makes me curious how we might change the way surprises are considered, and managed, and how we might invoke the joy of surprises in the workplace.

That in itself would be a pleasant surprise, don’t you agree?
