Have to - Want to.

A tension that often feels like the pushmi-pullyu character in Dr Dolittle.

For many of us, have-to’s often take precedence over the want-to’s. We reserve the want-to’s as a reward for ticking off the long list of tasks and obligations.

Unfortunately it means many of our want-to’s never rise to the top of the list.

When we consider that some of our want-to’s are better labelled need-to’s, it might be worth asking,

What if I escalate a want-to, or two, in today’s to-do list?

Now there’s a change worth making, don’t you agree.
