Being Brave

Courage is always at the heart of making change happen.

The courage to hope, when all seems lost.

The courage to believe, when doubt reigns.

The courage to show up, when and where you’re needed.

The courage to speak up, when all you hear is silence.

The courage to step away, when persisting is futile.

The courage to challenge, when things need to change.

The courage to keep going, when it would be easier not to.

Of course, that famous bear, Pooh, said it best: you’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
