Again & Again
I refilled the water bottles for, what felt like, the 100th time. And, as I placed it in the fridge, it got me thinking about all the things we do over and over and over again.
Work, and life, has many examples of repetition.
When I observe it, I’ll often ask - myself, and others - what opportunities exist to automate, systematise, template, or otherwise help us to work smarter, not harder.
Many times I receive the answer - from myself, and others - that it seems easier just to do the thing.
Maybe refilling the water bottles falls into that category of doing it as required.
But there are many examples where the investment of time and energy now saves us in the longer term.
I’m curious, what are you doing over and over and over again that might be done a little smarter?
