It’s All Relative

It’s all relative.

Today, in Perth, we enjoyed some relief from the warm weather. It was even referred to as a ‘cool change’.  This cool change was a maximum temperature of 28 Celsius / 82 Fahrenheit. I mentioned this to a colleague in the northern hemisphere, and they laughed saying this is just the kind of ‘cool change’ they long for.

Of course, it is all about perspective.

After a couple of weeks of temperatures well above this, today feels much cooler here.

It’s a reminder of how much our perspective plays into all communications. It’s natural for us to see the world based on our experiences and what is happening around us.

What changes when we recognise and accept that what we see, believe and experience isn’t the same as everyone else
