Voice Of Ready

Author Neil Gaiman writes, “people tend to find books when they are ready for them”.

I think this applies to finding people, learnings and opportunities, too.

At many junctures in our work and life, we may be called to make a change - to set a new goal, take on a bigger challenge or embed newfound skills and knowledge. The voice of “ready” gets louder as we approach these moments, and once we’ve heard it, everything moves to our favour.

We notice more.

We find resonance in more.

We are more alert to opportunities.

We are more willing to act.

When we are ready, we can make change happen.

I’m curious, what is your voice of “ready” saying to you?
