Today You Are You

Today you are you …

These Dr Seuss words always make me smile.

The whole stanza highlights one of the things I love about my fellow humans:

Today you are you,

That is truer than true.

There is no one alive

That is youer than you!

Eight plus billion and counting individual you’s. With our similarities and differences, and our complete uniqueness, we go about our work and lives in our unique ways.

That is what makes working and living with our fellow humans interesting.

Some you’s seem in a rush to replace many you’s with technology and the like.

And, many you’s tell me they, too, like the “youer of you”, giving me - and you - hope for the future.
