The Void Time

If there is anything that proves once and for all that time is a weird construct it is this week of the year.

Some refer to it as the void, twixtmas, crimbo limbo and some languages even have a word for it. It doesn’t really matter if we name it or not, we certainly feel it.

This week can feel like we’re down to that red bar of battery life, we’ve plugged ourselves into the power but we won’t work properly until we’ve had a good recharge.

Calendars are blurry. The pace is slow. Motivation is moody. Productivity goes out the window.

And, whether it’s holidays or (attempting to) work, it feels good to go along with the weirdness of time this week.

It has been a big 2022 for most people I know, and I’d suggest we’ve all earned it.
