It’s easy to take what we know for granted and what we think of as common knowledge or skills is not as common as first thought.

Mastery is a key source of motivation for us humans. Yet our tendency towards a deficit mindset, only seeing what author Dan Sullivan terms the gap rather than the gain, has us undervalue ourselves.
