Stay Open

Last week, the arm fell off the glasses I wear for computer work. I had no choice but to wear my second pair while waiting for a new pair. They are not the best for computer work.

I thought it was going to be a difficult week navigating this change. Yet a week on, I realise it hasn’t been that painful because I have adapted.

We can find ourselves with a fixed view of the ideal, or only, conditions for _______ (insert blank).

The more we stay open and adapt to different conditions, the more we can trust ourselves to navigate change as it occurs.

As we get ready for the work week ahead, it’s a good reminder that adaptability and change is what we humans do.
