Starting Today

There’s a great quote attributed to C S Lewis that says: You can’t go back and change the beginning but you can start where you are and change the ending.

As we close out the first quarter of the year, we look back to what we set out to do at the beginning of the year. The optimism and determination might feel lessened by the way the year has turned out.

Continued uncertainty, lack of progress, changing circumstances, lack of clarity, procrastination can frustrate or overwhelm us. Knowing they are sunk costs, it is better to let them go.

Instead, what if we start where we are? What step can we take today that brings us closer to the change we seek?

It’s true, starting today we can change our ending for 2023.
