Show Not Tell

Show not tell.

When we

model our values and behaviours,

perform our skills,

share our expertise,

we give others the opportunity to see us in action.

We’re showing the way of doing, leading, communicating, collaborating, teaching, learning, sharing, being.

Show not tell is a passage to greater learning, connection and growth. One that is as good for the show-er, as it is for the show-ee.

Which makes me wonder…

when we feel the urge to tell, how might we show instead?
