Shift Perspective

We can think about problems for a long time and then, seemingly from nowhere a solution appears.

It’s as the quote from Dan Brown says, “sometimes a change of perspective is all it takes to see the light.”

That tiny shift of perspective can allow us to see or understand something we didn’t before.

When I’m particularly stuck, I deliberately do something to change my perspective, such as

💥 Visualising what unstuck looks like and think about solutions,

💥 Talking to someone with different views, or thinking, to me, or

💥 Changing my environment, like going for a walk to think through things.

Looping through the same thought process tends to send us in a downward spiral.

What do you do to see things differently?
