Sans Expectations

Expectations.

… best not to have any.

I discovered these words as I went back through an old notebook.

They were accompanied by 2 pictures. The first was a representation of what I had expected. The second, a cartoon, was a funny take on my reality at that time.

I laughed. I sighed. I rolled my eyes. Yes, it is a familiar story.

When we are willing to step forth into our day … week … life … sans expectations, we get to celebrate and enjoy reality, however it unfolds.

Letting go of expectations might allow more time and space to focus on what really matters.

Which makes me wonder, how might letting go of expectations change your week ahead?
