Rules For Me
Other people’s rules …
are useful …
for other people.
And, sometimes, for us.
Discerning the expectations we set and the stories we tell is necessary in both work and life.
Who do they belong to? Are they ours to own and live by?
How do they impact us? Are they intentional?
How can we learn, benefit, and grow from adopting these into the way we work and live?
And, when are the times for other people’s rules to remain with other people?
I’m curious, as you reflect on the week that was, where might you benefit from using, or losing, the other people’s rules influencing you?
