Right To Rest

You deserve a rest.

It’s a commonly held view that rest is for the deserved.

What if deserving a rest was earned simply from our being? As human beings, we need rest. Rest maintains and sustains us in being happy, healthy humans.

Chances are most of us have been keeping up with the prevailing expectations of doing, and not enough resting … until we believe we deserve it.

Spoiler alert: some of us never believe we deserve it, or the amount we truly need.

What it might take

to reclaim our right to rest,

to restore our energy and vitality, and

to be our best self in work and life?

I’m curious how are you resting because you need to, want to, choose to?
