Stresslaxation.

Sounds like a buzzword, I know. However, the Fast Company article referring to it brings our attention to the severe levels of stress that some people experience when trying to relax. 

Of course, the impact of busy workloads, technology and hybrid work arrangements, can make it difficult for anyone to completely switch off from work.

Whether it is fighting the urge to check Slack or email messages, or an actual panic attack, it is not good for our health and wellbeing. We must find ways to stop, step away and recharge as this is the only way we can sustain the energy and focus to do our work well.

With a holiday weekend ahead, it might be the perfect opportunity to practice some relaxation. How will you spend your downtime?
