Remember To Breathe

Remember to breathe.

Thankfully, of course, the reminder isn’t needed for the ‘keep us alive’ breathing.

It is, however, often needed for the breathing that helps us reset and find calm.

There’s much that might have us holding our breath, or rapid, anxious breathing, or perhaps a combination of both.

It is precisely in these times that we must remember to breathe.

As poet David Whyte writes: easy, relaxed, breathing always leads to surprise …

Remember to breathe and we, too, might find surprise in what ensues.
