Pseudonym For Change

What if we chose a pseudonym for a day?

In an article exploring authors who use pseudonyms, it observed that for many it provided greater freedom of expression, and an opportunity to explore controversial topics and minority viewpoints.

It has me thinking about how this might be helpful for us change seekers who are challenging the status quo in the workplace.

What if we got to spend time in the workplace operating under a pseudonym?  What would we do or say in a meeting? What would we observe from a different viewpoint? What would we have greater freedom to say or do?

And, whilst we could debate whether this is any better a solution to the ones we use now to initiate and embed change, it’s an interesting thought experiment.

It makes me curious, what would be possible if you were a pseudonym in your workplace?
