Perfect Fit

Perfect fit.

The name of this puzzle is fairly self explanatory: fit the randomly shaped pieces into the grid.

It looked simple enough for a quick brain break until I discovered the obvious solution didn’t fit.

How often is that the case in work and life!

We move quickly toward the obvious only to find ourselves madly adjusting and changing to make things work.

Not to mention the realisation that for most things, the ‘perfect fit’ does not exist.

Time. Effort. Opportunity. All potential costs of racing toward the obvious.

What if we took a moment to

step back,

consider what is enough, and

assess our options,

before we act?

I wonder how that might provide us with a better solution to our work and life puzzles.
