People are people are people …

I’ve been known to say this once, or thrice.

Our individuality is underpinned by the simple reality that we are all human.

I often hear words like:

Oh, we tech people don’t do it that way.

Creatives are just like that.

You wouldn’t see that from us engineers.

Us entrepreneurial types never do that.

And so on, and so forth.

Yes, this often reflects the unique requirements and approaches specific to different professions and industries.

And, sometimes is is code for “we’ve always done it this way”.

When we’re looking to challenge the status quo, we might ask,

what does a human do?
