New Seasons

Breathe in the new season changes.

Today, we start a new month and a new season. Sure, it’s just the next day on the calendar, and in reality, there’s not anymore change today than there was yesterday. Except, today we take notice.

We are primed to observe this marker of time passing. In doing so, we look backward and reflect. We look forward and plan. We choose yesterday to be the end of something, and today to be the start of new.

What if we choose to stop and take notice at other times? What alternative markers can we choose to observe? What if we don’t wait for a new week, month or season to make change?

What if, indeed.
