Messy Middle

Every change has a messy middle.

I was reminded of the challenges of the messy middle today whilst working on my jigsaw puzzle.

I have pieces everywhere, there is no clear direction where to go next, and many of the pieces are blending into one.

When faced with the messy middle, we need extra determination to keep going. We have to keep believing that with perseverance, the pieces will start to come together.

We have to take it step by step, or piece by piece.

Trust the process, as the saying goes. On the other side of the messy middle is the pathway to success.

Good news for my jigsaw puzzle, and good news for the change we seek to make.
