Making The Pieces Fit

It’s like a game of Tetris®

We each nodded knowingly when our colleague used this description for the impossible task of making the calendar and to-do’s fit.

We can often feel as though we are playing this game, and that the perfect day is represented by neatly fitting all of the pieces into the grid in one single attempt.

What if we accept that, much like the game, we will have times when the pieces do not fit?

What if we feel content - and possibly celebrate - seeing some space appear?

What if when we are stuck, we click on the ‘try again’ button and move the pieces in a different way?

Playing the game of calendars, to-do’s and getting things done can be fun, too, don’t you agree.
