Life Is Too Short

Chef, and TV celeb, Jamie Oliver said “life is too short for boring salads.”

Yes, I can agree with that.

It has me wondering about the workday examples of what life is too short for.

Life is too short for

Meetings that could have been an email

Power struggles and playing politics

Dumb rules and bureaucratic processes

Doing work that lacks meaning, purpose and joy

Being micro-managed, disrespected and treated unfairly

Remaining stuck where you are

And more.

Much more.

And, just as we can access new ingredients and recipes for a great salad, possibilities for change abound. When life is too short, it’s imperative to make change happen.

I’m curious, what’s on your LIFE IS TOO SHORT FOR list, and where do you seek change?
