Hopeful Thinking

Research shows we humans are wired for negativity with approximately 80% of our thoughts being negative ones.

Well, that sucks.

Similar research also shows that we tend to repeat 95% of our thoughts day in and day out.

As we know, all commodities in rare supply become ever more valuable.

And so it is with the value in optimism and positive thinking.

In my book, Change Seekers, I push back on this negativity bias within humans, and write about hope being like oxygen for anyone seeking change.

“In our workplaces, hope is what guides us to a vision of what is possible. Hope is what we carry with us when turning possibility into reality.”

I’m curious how might you make your repeatable thoughts those that bring hope and optimism?
