Good Surprises
What a good surprise …
Based on the book’s blurb, I wasn’t expecting to read what I did.
Such a surprise might cause us disappointment or concern.
Not me. Not this time.
I love being surprised.
I love having the opportunity to be stopped in my tracks,
reflect on how my prior experience and expectations influence my thought path, and
to say, wow that is a surprise.
When we stay curious, don’t let our brains shortcut to the a + b = c solution, and stay open to surprise it paves the pathway to meaning and satisfaction in work and life. Now that is a change worth making, don’t you agree?!
