Good Enough Change

Perfection is an impossible destination.

So goes the quote from author, Tim Ferris.

The desire for perfection really can be a barrier to taking action.

It often shows up when we are trying to make important changes. We conflate the destination of our goals with a vision of the perfect future.

This can have us struggling to begin, procrastinating, or setting ourselves unrealistic expectations. Inaction, frustration, and brick walls can be the result.

Seeking good enough is a realistic and powerful reframe, because good enough is often more than good enough.

I’m curious, how might you envision your change journey minus the perfection trap?
