Fun @ Work

I’ll often ask the question, “how was X … was it fun?”

To which I can often receive the reply, “what do you mean, fun? Fun isn’t the word I’d use for X!”

Why not?

Everything can be drudgery, a chore, boring, or unpleasant if we choose it to be.

And, within everything we can find a way for it to be enjoyable, pleasant or entertaining.

I, for one, don’t plan on looking back and lamenting all the un-fun things I’ve had to do.

I’m curious how might we make fun a core part of the work we do?
