For Humans

Communicating change is one of the things people tell me keeps them awake at night when it comes to change in the workplace.

Given many of us have been at the receiving end of a poorly communicated change at some point in time, it’s not surprising that there is a level of angst when you are the communicator.

There are entire libraries worth of how-to books and articles on this topic. This may well be part of the problem 🤔

When I reflect on well-executed change communications I have received - especially ones where I’m not a fan of the change itself - there is one consistent feature.

They are human.

By a human, for a human.

Open, transparent, heartfelt, and real.

This makes it sound easy. It’s not. And, yet it is.
