Extra Chance
What would you do with an extra chance?
There’s a game on my phone that randomly provides an extra chance when you lose a round. Even within the confines of a game, the knowledge of that extra chance has an interesting effect on the way the game is played.
The freedom to take a leap, and the opportunity to experiment with moves, are afforded with the possibility of an extra chance.
Extra chances only exist in games, of course, and not in the ‘real’ world.
Or, do they?
What if we took an ‘extra chance’ mindset to the work we do?
Because not everything that we do is ‘game over’ if it doesn’t work out the way we expected. Not every move we make is final. The opportunity to try again, or start over, is available to us more often than we realise.
What if we tried something new, experimented with options, and took that leap with the possibility of an ‘extra chance’?
How might it help us create the outcome we were seeking all along?
