Change Is Coming
They said the change was coming.
But it was difficult to believe it would.
In this example, the change of weather seemed unlikely. Blue skies forever, and the sun shining brightly, gave little clue to the incoming storm.
A few hours later, I sit listening to the overhead thunder and watching the sideways rain through the window.
The change did come.
A reminder that sometimes we cannot see change until it is right upon us.
A reminder to trust that someone (they, we, I, you) will see the early signs of change.
And, a reminder to trust when we’re told change is coming, it most likely is.
Change truly is the one constant that we can trust.
