A Different Way

Is there a different way?

A rhetorical question, of course, as there is always a different way.

Our brains are funny things, though, and at times we can find ourselves blind to the possibility of an alternative solution. Add in a sprinkle of stress, anxiety or overwhelm and our thinking quickly goes awry. Our thinking gets stuck, and we feel stuck.

While we are lamenting, or putting up with, the status quo, we are unable to contemplate what is possible.

When we ask:

What if …

What about …

What else …

We might discover one of the different ways to try.

When we get our thinking unstuck, we get unstuck.

I’m curious, how might you be blind to the possibility of a different way?
