Weird Rules

Weird rules abound.

When we hear of a weird rule, we’re quick to say, ‘that can’t be real …’

and yet often we accept that weird rule,

because weird rules abound.

Not all weird rules should be so readily accepted.

Some weird rules need to be questioned.

Some weird rules need to be changed.

Some weird rules need to lose their weird.

I’m curious, what’s a weird rule you would like to see become less weird.
