We Don’t Know

“How do you know it will work?”

“We don’t!” she replies, through laughter, to the host.

This exchange on a popular housing show was discussing a first-of-its-kind housing design.

With most things, we never know for certain if it will work. Especially so, when we choose to go first.

If change is to happen, someone has to have the care and curiosity to be the first.

Someone has to have the courage and conviction to laugh at the question “how do you know?”

Someone has to have the confidence and commitment to trust, and to do.

We don’t know, and that’s ok.
