The Next Left Turn

Turn left here …

These words from my passenger as we considered a different route instead of being stuck in the traffic jam.

There’s no real knowing whether taking a side street will get us to our destination quicker, however it feels good to be moving. When we do something we feel less stuck.

And so it is that when we find ourselves in a [fill in the blank] jam, we may well look for that next left turn.

Do something.

Anything.

Keep moving.

Stay unstuck.

Quicker cannot be guaranteed,

but we’ll definitely get to where we’re going.

It’s hump day, and if you’re feeling stuck, where might you turn left?
